PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
As the year 2018 begins, I want to thank our Past President, Kathy Hutchins, from the bottom of my heart for mentoring me as I work through my first year as President of this marvelous club.  What a powerful club with such interesting and intelligent women coming together with varied ages and backgrounds with one common goal, raising scholarship money for our local Princeton women attending public or private secondary schools, who need financial assistance to meet the high costs of college education.

Reminder:  SAVE THE DATE:  BRIDGE/CARDS/GAME/FUNDRAISER
Monday, April 23, 2018
The Present Day Club
72 Stockton Street
Princeton NJ
11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

We shall need several kinds of help from our members to make this a smashing and successful event!

  1. Lots of members to attend this event
  2. Members to bring guests to the event
  3. Gift cards from local restaurants and services in our area for our Silent Auction
  4. Gift baskets for the Silent Auction
  5. A Small***New***Gift that you might have received for the holidays and would like to “re- gift”

This will be a terrific day of fun and games for all!!!
Let Gay Culin, Carol Stawski, or me know how you would like to participate in this event.

Lastly, and of utmost importance, we need volunteers to serve on the Nominating Committee.  The committee will consist of a board member as the chair and two members from the general membership to serve.  Don’t be shy and give me a call or email and help the club.  If we don’t have enough volunteers, we shall have to call women to serve.  It’s a ton of fun, as Kathy would say, to “get all the dirt on your fellow members of the club.”

GENERAL MEETING
MONDAY, FEBRUARY  19, 2018    1:00 P.M.     ALL SAINTS EPISCOPAL CHURCH

HARRY TRUMAN, THE MAN FROM INDEPENDENCE

Our speaker, David Mulford, has had a life-long interest in the American Presidents and their families.  His talk will reflect on the life of a Missouri farm boy, without a college education, who overcame early failures to become one of the most popular presidents in the history of our country.

The Reverend Dr. Mulford is a retired Presbyterian minister who has served churches in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. He earned degrees from Colgate University and the Princeton Theological Seminary and has taught adult education classes and Elder Hostels and speaks frequently to retirement communities, church groups, and to the Women’s College Club.

All Saints Episcopal Church is located at 16 All Saints Road in Princeton. The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m.  Guests are always welcome.
