At the March 21 program Princeton University Art Museum docent Joyce Felsenfeld discussed women artists from the early 17th century to modern times. She explored the challenges that women have had, and still have, becoming artists of great renown. She also discussed the different ways women are depicted in art. After many years on the faculty of Stuart Country Day School in Princeton, Joyce Felsenfeld became a docent at the Princeton University Art Museum in 2016. She has a passion for teaching, the arts, museums, and traveling. She greatly enjoys being a docent and sharing her love of art with both children and adults, and looks forward to the re-opening of the Princeton University Art museum in 2024.
