PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:
I am excited to invite the membership to a meeting at the Nassau Club at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 19, 2015, a fun beginning to the New Year. This is a first-time morning event for the Club, and we will not be having a speaker.
The meeting will be a social coffee when you will have a chance to meet new members and give your Board some feedback on what you have liked about the Club and what and where you think improvements are needed.
Examples:  What do you think of switching to paper products at the general meetings?  What do you think about the Club having a Fashion Show again? What can we do to improve attendance at the Bridge Benefit scheduled for this April? What do you think of receiving the Blue Slip by email? (No longer blue)
We need your suggestions.  There is plenty of parking, and it is not going to snow.  I will be sending out a reminder.  Enjoy the holidays.
Kathy Hutchins

GENERAL MEETING:
Welcome to the Holiday season with the Tartantones from Stuart Country Day School.  The award-winning Vox Unum Choir of 24 girls will entertain us with special seasonal choral and acapella selections.  The group has performed in Austria, Festival Disney at Orlando, and the Heritage Festival in Washington, DC.  This year they received a special invitation to sing at Carnegie Hall, which was achieved by scoring in the top tier at the Heritage Festival.  Music is an important part of the educational program at Stuart, which encourages each student to develop a lifelong love of music.  Invite your friends to join us for this very special performance.
Janet Reiche

BOARD MEETING: On December 2 we shall meet at the home of Kathy Hutchins.  Please call Kathy if you cannot be there.  Remember, for coffee, come before 10:00 a.m., when the meeting will be called to order.
