Title: “Princeton: Then and Now”
The town of Princeton was settled more than 300 years ago. Eve Mandel Director of Programs and Visitor Services of the Princeton Historical Society will tell us what has changed over the years and what has stayed the same. Enjoy a virtual tour, comparing current images of transportation, shopping, education and historic sites to vintage photographs from the Historical Society’s collections.
Eve has been charged with developing and expanding HSP’s programs and partnerships as well as providing a fun and educational visitor experience. She manages the Visitor Services operation at Bainbridge House and Updike Farmstead, overseeing the Admissions Associates and a very active volunteer corps of Walking Tour Guides and High School docents. She develops curriculum and teaches a wide range of education programming for schools through out central New Jersey. In addition she plans and teaches a menu of programs for adults and the general public. She is responsible for HSP’s community relations, managing all press, social media and public relations, as well as building collaborations with other non-profit and service organizations. She also administers an active Event Rentals schedule, including weddings, birthday parties, corporate and private events.
Prior to joining HSP’s staff, Eve held positions at the Morris Museum and National Constitution Center. Eve earned her BA at American University and her Certification for Teaching at the College of Saint Elizabeth.
